For the Young of Heart at Emmanuel! The Senior Adults Ministry serves those 65 and over.

EBC Senior Adult Ministry is committed to connecting with and caring for our senior adults.  In particular, connecting with those who are shut-in is extremely important during this season of COVID-19.

Robin Sloboda, Pastor of Senior Adult Ministry, is currently away from work on medical leave. Robin has been blogging at https://emmanuelsenior.blogspot.com/ and hopes to continue to do so as long as she is able.

In her absence, Brendon Gibson is providing pastoral care to our seniors.  Please contact Brendon with any questions or concerns, 306-477-1234, x129.

Growing in Grace offers an opportunity to connect with each other, have a meal together, to support local outreach organizations like: The Bridge on 20th, Teen Challenge, and Pregnancy Options Centre (SPOC), and support World Vision (by adopting a child). We meet at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Growing in Grace has been suspended until further notice.

Coffee & Conversation: The purpose of these gatherings is for senior adults to have a time to be together sharing a snack, enjoying a presentation by local presenters or watch a movie, followed by a devotional and discussion time after. Coffee & Conversation has been suspended until further notice.

Forever in Motion: This is a peer led exercise group for older adults and the Saskatoon Health Region trains the leaders. The group gathers on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 am until 10:30. This program runs October – December.

Bus Ministry: This ministry provides rides to our 10:30 a.m. service for those in need. A special thank you to the faithful volunteer drivers (Andy Smith, Gerrit Verdouw, Myles Sanderson, and Roger Deweerd) who have met a definite need for those who lack other means of transport to church Sunday mornings. Bus service is suspended until further notice.
