We look forward to welcoming you back! As you prepare to attend Sunday morning service, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the guidelines below, so that you know what to expect when you arrive.
Please note there will be no Children’s Programming on Jan. 17th and 24th.
Emmanuel Baptist Church guidelines for Sunday services:

– Social distancing of two metres between households must be maintained at all times.

– Persons wishing to attend a service must register in advance to ensure the number of participants does not exceed maximum number allowed.

– Persons wishing to attend a service must answer a set of self-assessment questions to determine if they are eligible to enter the building and participate in the service.

– All persons (grade school and older) attending a service must wear a mask at all times, including when singing.  The only exception to this is when partaking of communion.

– Persons attending a service must follow the designated one-way traffic flow. (This includes entry, exit, and use of the washrooms.)

– Persons attending a service may not stop to visit in the building.  Any visiting in the parking lot must be done in a way that supports physical distancing.

– Upon entering the building, people must immediately move into the sanctuary, find a place to sit, and remain in that place until being dismissed at the end of the service.

– Persons attending a service may only sit with those in their households/bubbles.

– Washrooms will be available, but can only be accessed by one person/household at a time.  People wishing to use the washroom must follow the designated traffic flow to and from the washrooms.

-There will be no food or coffee served.

– Upon being dismissed, people must immediately leave the church in a way that maintains two metres of social distance.

– Those wishing to access Children’s and Youth programming will enter through the back door and follow the designated traffic flow to the classrooms.  Once children have been checked in to their classroom, parents and care-givers would immediately move into the sanctuary (following the designated one-way traffic flow).  Households not wishing to access children’s programming will sit together in the sanctuary, maintaining the prescribed two metres of social distance until dismissed at the end of the service.   (This means parents/care-givers will not be able to walk the hallways with their children or take their children into the foyer to wander.)
